In 2016, Dr. Allan Harrington, a Mohs surgeon with over 30 years of dermatology experience and more than 40 years in medicine, founded WellAve Dermatology with a simple but powerful mission: to bring high-quality medical care to underserved communities in Maryland. WellAve began as a mobile dermatology service, traveling to patients in need to ensure they had access to expert skin care.  

As the practice grew, WellAve Dermatology expanded its services by partnering with primary care and urgent care facilities in underserved areas, providing greater access to specialized dermatology care. Today, WellAve operates multiple locations across Maryland, delivering on its core promise of accessibility, affordability, and inclusivity while continuing to prioritize patient care in every community it serves.
