Wellave Dermatology: After all the years of my granddaughter having Eczema, we found something that works. The person she saw in September and had a follow-up with yesterday was able to prescribe the right medication for her skin. My granddaughter also mentioned that she thought her hair might be falling out and was prescribed a medication for that as well. Needless to say, her skin has not looked better, and her hair getting fuller. The staff are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about skin & hair care. This grandmother would recommend the for treatment of hair and skin. Office was clean, neat, and serving their clients well!

I have been a patient of Cheri Cartagena, PA-C for over a year and am incredibly pleased with her level of care, kindness, compassion, and thoroughness. She makes me feel at ease to ask questions, and doesn’t just rush me through (like many other providers). Also I’ve never had to wait in the waiting area for longer than 1-2 minutes to be seen. Great experience all around!

I was referred to WellAve. I had a spot on my face that was to have been fixed from another Dr office in April 2025. It never healed. When I went to Wellave the Dr looked took pictures I was able to get in with Dr in Frederick. The cancer was removed and I was able to get into plastic surgeon next morning. I’m healing very happy with all. THANK YOU WELLAVE I WILL BE BACK VERY SOON

I have a great deal of experience with physician’s practices and I am singularly impressed with Dr. Volker. He is engaging personally and thorough with his examination of my skin issues. I did not feel rushed or uninformed during the examination and procedure.

Megan Juarez has been terrific! She has been working hard in helping me get a specialised medication and answering all of my many phone calls. I just met Rebekah, who’s filling in for Dr Vollker. I found her friendly, personal and a good listener. I really appreciate this office.

Cheri is one of the best dermatologists I’ve had the pleasure of working with in quite a while. She is personable, highly knowledgeable and listens. As a healthcare provider myself I understand the importance of this trait. The office in Hagerstown is very pleasant and easy-going, which is refreshing.
